Among her bestselling books are THE PRINCESS AND THE WIZARD (978-1-4050-9076-6), illustrated by Lydia Monks, and CHOCOLATE MOUSSE FOR GREEDY GOOSE (978-1-4050-2190-6), illustrated by Nick Sharratt. Julia is perhaps best known for the modern classic THE GRUFFALO (978-0-333-71093-7), illustrated by Axel Scheffler and now a successful animation.

Fantasierijk
Mooi vormgegeven
Grappig

A lovely story about a tiny snail that wants to see more of the world, and hitches a lift on the tail of a whale. The story is funny, and scans nicely making it easy to read out and the illustrations are wonderful. This book does not get boring, even after many many many readings...
