Julia Donaldson

"Julia Donaldson is the most popular picture book author writing today. Among her bestselling books are THE PRINCESS AND THE WIZARD (978-1-4050-9076-6), illustrated by Lydia Monks, and CHOCOLATE MOUSSE FOR GREEDY GOOSE (978-1-4050-2190-6), illustrated by Nick Sharratt. Julia is perhaps best known for the modern classic THE GRUFFALO (978-0-333-71093-7), illustrated by Axel Scheffler and now a successful animation.

This book is an absolutel joy for kids and adults alike. It's very pleasing to read (the rhyming couplets are beautifully constructed) and has great illustrations. My 3-year old loves it! There is just the right amount of peril and a happy ending. I love doing all the voices of the different characters. I cannot recommend it enough
